Winnipeg Winter Club Fitness Trainer / Instructor

The Winnipeg Winter Club is currently hiring for a Training / Instructing position, and is looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and professional individual who has both strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

‚ÄčThis position includes opportunities for personal training, fitness consultations and orientations. This position would also require possible involvement in sports specific team training and regular group instruction at The Winnipeg Winter Club.

The chosen candidate will welcome new members to the club, design personal programs and work with Provincial and National level athletes. They will also be paid an hourly rate for fitness center orientations and fitness consultations.

All applicants must have their valid CPR Level C and First Aid certifications.  A University degree and post degree certifications are an asset for this position.

Beginning Tuesday, September 7th, 2021, the Winnipeg Winter Club will be operating at full capacity and we will require all employees, coaches, members and guests to provide proof of full vaccination.

The Winnipeg Winter Club is currently looking to hire Instructors for our Skating Programs.  The WWC is looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and professional individual who has both strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Qualified candidates must have:
-A minimum NCCP Level 1
-Valid first aid certification
-Registered with Skate Canada
-Police clearance check
Skills:
The Successful candidate will:
Be a positive role model for our young skaters
Be outgoing, enthusiastic and professional
Possess great communication skills
Keeping up with Skate Canada updates and changes
Be a team player who will work with other coaches in delivering Skate Canada Programs.
The Club currently offers CanSkate, CanPower and STARSkate, as well as competitive programs. Successful candidates must also be willing to organize special events such as Ice Shows, Club Competitions, Fun Days and other skating related activities.
