We are missing everyone on the Badminton court during the Covid-19 shut down! Since our Fitness area is open, I encourage you to register for a fitness class to help improve your strength and cardio. Please check out what Fitness classes are available by contacting the front desk.

I hope to see all of you soon. Stay safe and stay healthy!

The Annual General Meeting of the Winnipeg Winter Club scheduled for Wednesday, November 25th has been postponed until further notice. We will be announcing a new meeting date in the near future.

REMEMBRANCE DAY

Wednesday, November 11th our hours of operation will be 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm

ON BEHALF OF THE WWC STAFF

I would like to thank you for your support during this unprecedented time. The COVID-19 pandemic remains one of the largest challenges we have ever had to face as a Club. We are very thankful for the understanding, patience, and cooperation our members have shown to the Club, your fellow members, and the staff. The connections and support from you all have lightened many days and hearts as our staff work towards keeping everyone safe. We are a few days into Code Red with access being limited to our Fitness Area and Fitness programming, and thus far things have been going well.

A FEW KEY POINTS AND REMINDERS TO ALL MEMBERS:

- Face masks that cover the nose, mouth and chin with no gap are required at all times.
- With limited capacity in the Fitness Area, it is imperative that you book prior to coming to the WINT. If you cannot make it and have booked, please cancel so we can accommodate others.
- We have redeployed our Safety Ambassadors to the entry of the Fitness Area during peak hours.

THESE AMBASSADORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Greeting and checking members in as they arrive to the area
- Ensuring we are not exceeding capacity limitations
- Ensuring masks are worn and are worn properly
- Ensuring social distancing is occurring
- Sanitizing the Fitness Area

Please respect our staff, our policies and the Government regulations.

The Aquatics department is still trying to get an idea of how many members are interested in registering their kids for a Bronze Medallion/Cross class in the Winter session. If this is something that interests you or if you have any questions please contact Bryce Hurd.

Regular scheduled fitness classes will continue in the Fitness Studio. For more information contact Fitness Director, Jeff Mitchell. Please contact Reception to book your spot in the gym.
