7:30 am – 9:00 am ADULT SWIM
9:00 am – 8:00 pm OPEN SWIM

Pool hours for Monday, February 18th will be:

Swimming has many other benefits including:

- Being a relaxing and peaceful form of exercise
- Alleviating stress
- Improving coordination, balance and posture
- Improving flexibility
- Providing good low-impact therapy for some injuries and conditions
- Providing a pleasant way to cool down on a hot day (or after an intense workout!)

Swimming is a good all-around activity because it:

     • keeps your heart rate up but takes some of the impact stress off your body
     • builds endurance, muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness
     • helps maintain a healthy weight, healthy heart and lungs
     • tones muscles and builds strength
     • provides an all-over body workout, as nearly all of your muscles are used during swimming.

Please be respectful to our posted WWC swimming lesson times. Even if you decide you just want to jump in and out of the pool, please be aware that this is still a risk. Our lifeguards are focused on teaching their class at this time, so by jumping into the pool (even just for a quick 5 seconds), not only are you now disrupting the classes, but there is also always the risk of injury, which now brings the classes to a halt. Again, we ask that you respect that there is no open swim Monday – Friday, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm and Saturdays, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Please note that with Winter in full swing, we ask that everyone visiting the pool please follow these rules to help keep our pool and surrounding areas clean!

- Please remove all outdoor footwear before walking through the shower area and on the pool deck
- All swimmers must shower before entering the pool. (This doesn’t have to be a full out shower, but we do ask that you take a moment to rinse off any lotions/scents/etc.)
