Our next complimentary Starter Squash class is next Monday, August 14th from 5:45pm-6:30pm. At Starter Squash we will go over all the basics to get you started playing squash. This includes the rules of the game, boundaries of the court, scoring, as well as how to hold and swing the racquet. We will get you hitting some basic shots and serving before leaving you to play a few games at the end. There is still one final week of our Summer Tri Racquet Camps coming up. It runs August 28th-September 1st. In our camp, kids ages 8-14 years old take part in 1.5 hours per day in each of our three racquet sports of Squash, Tennis and Badminton. Each day participants also get to choose their lunch from a menu each morning as well as finish each day with an hour swim in the pool. If your son or daughter is interested in trying out for the Manitoba Junior Provincial Team this year, save the date of September 8th and 9th. The tryouts will consist of a long distance run on Friday the 8th down Lyndale Drive and match play on Saturday the 9th at the WWC.
