The first squash tournament of the season here in Manitoba ran this past week with the Winnipeg Winter Club Open. The tournament had a good turnout and saw lots of great play throughout the week. The A Championship Final went the full 5 game distance with Connor Turk edging out David Glass in front of a large crowd. Tournament participants were treated to great food both Friday night and Saturday afternoon from Urban Prairie Cuisine. The next provincial tournament is coming up November 28th - December 1st at the WSRC. Visit Squash Manitoba to enter.

We have adult drills the Tuesday, November 5th, 12th and 19th. Our adult drills are for players at the B through E level. The sessions take part from 6:30 - 7:30 pm with the main focus being working on skills and technique as well as learning new drills to practice. The cost is $15.00 for the hour. To register for any of our sessions, please contact Trevor Borland.

Several of our WWC juniors will be away this weekend in Edmonton at the Alberta Junior Jesters. It is one of the core stops on the Junior National circuit. Good luck to all of those participating.
