Come Skate the Wint red with us on December 10th.
December 10th has been recognized as Canada 150 Skate Day.
We are at home on the ice so let’s lace up together to enjoy our favourite winter activity and to celebrate the completion of the Canada 150 year.
Whether in an arena or on a backyard rink, pond, canal or river, skating is tightly woven into the social fabric of Canada and part of who we are.
Canada 150 Skate Day will be one of the final events in the year-long marking Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation and we want our members to be a part of it.
We invite our members and their friends and family to join the skating party! You do not need to register to attend this member event and members can bring guests with them for this event.
Members will also have the opportunity to sign up for a complimentary 15-minute skating lesson with our coaches during this event.
Skating lesson times: 1:45-2:00 pm, 2:00-2:15 pm, 2:15-2:30 pm, 2:30-2:45 pm
Email me to reserve your complimentary lesson spot. Same day sign up will be available for any open lessons spots if you do not register but to avoid disappointment we recommend registering!
There will be hot chocolate for our members and Santa will be visiting us on the ice.
Save the date: Sunday, December 10th 1:45-3:15 pm
