If you haven't heard, on February 2nd an amazing Feat of Fitness took place here at the WWC with one of our long term members, Alex Long, taking on a challenge few have ever attempted over 28 days, he set out to do this challenge in just one day!

After talking about it and training for it for months, WWC member Alex Long started climbing the Jacobs Ladder early last Saturday with the goal of completing all 29,000 feet of Mount Everest in one day!

BUT HOW?

Alex did the climb in a number of different intervals with the most impressive being a 3 hour and 20 minute straight climb without stopping, where he completed 12,500 of the 29,000 feet in that section alone.

HISTORY IN THE MAKING

Alex started out on the Jacobs Ladder mid-morning Saturday and completed the final foot of the 29,000 in the early evening hours of that same day to become the first WWC member and first person I personally know to ever do this feat in a single day! Way to go Alex!
