YOGA & PILATES
Thai Yoga Stretch
Fridays 12:30-2:00 pm
Session 1: Sept 30th to Nov 4th (6 weeks)
Session 2: Nov 18th to Dec 16th (5 weeks)
This 90 minute class is a Thai yoga inspired bodywork session
where you will passively receive the benefits of yoga. Meagan
will guide you through a slow, deeply relaxing practice of restorative
yoga while you receive grounding hands-on adjustments.
She will physically move your body (think of yourself as a marionette)
into positions allowing you the pleasure and time to
experience a deep state of relaxation. The intention of this hands
-on, therapeutic approach is to slow down the mind, let go, and
witness the depth of your own “prana” or life force energy. Come
and feel the magic of “prana” and experience bliss! Please note:
Space is limited to ensure plenty of hands-on assists between
practitioner and receiver.
Investment: $157.50 including g.s.t. (5 week session), $189 including

Flow Yoga Class
Saturdays 12:30pm to 1:30pm starts Oct 15th (10 weeks)

Tuesdays 10:45am to 11:45am starts Sept 6th (15 weeks)
Relax, realign, and rejuvenate in this playful flowing class where
breath is used to steady the mind and calm the body.

Intro to Yoga 6 Week Course with Meagan
Wednesdays 11am to 12:15pm
Sept 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, Oct 5th and 12th (6 weeks)
This workshop will provide an in-depth look at the foundational
yoga postures that you will see in many yoga classes. For those
with little or no yoga experience, this is an excellent way to learn
yoga. During this course you will learn the basic techniques and
principles of yoga in a slow, safe and comprehensive manner.
There will be plenty of time for questions and practice.

Finding Freedom in Your Body: Mobility for Yoga, Sport
and Life
Mondays at 7:30am to 8:00am starts Sept 12th (30 minute class)
Fridays at 6:30am to 7:30am starts Sept 9th (60 minute class)
Tight hips? Tight shoulders? Let’s work on it! This class is an extension
of Meagan Wilson’s Mobility and Muscle Release Series.
These classes are an opportunity to apply and practice the mobility
principles and techniques with the help of Meagan’s expert
movement coaching. She will help you uncover your muscle
restrictions and reinforce good movement patterns. Commit to
taking care of your body and you will see HUGE benefits in your
flexibility, joint health, movement quality and more! Let’s move
more, and move better! (Open to all levels and movement
backgrounds, no experience required)
Investment: $235 including g.s.t (60 min class) $117.50 including
g.s.t. (30 min class)


MELT
Join us at the Winnipg Winter Club and experience changes in
how your body looks and feels. Learn simple MELT Method self treatments
you can do at home to remain active, healthy, and
pain-free for life.
This beginner level workshop will use specialized soft rollers and
small MELT Hand and Foot Treatment Balls to simulate the results
of manual therapy. Over six weeks, learn to eliminate stuck
stress before it accumulates causing chronic aches, pains, and
unwanted signs of aging. Reduce inflammation, ease chronic neck
and low back strain, improve alignment, enhance athletic performance,
and keep your whole body feeling great at any age.
Register early class size is limited to 3 participants.

We are pleased to now offer Private Pilates and Yoga sessions
here at The Winnipeg Winter Club.
It is highly recommended that if you are looking to get into Pilates
or Yoga that you start with a few private or small group classes
to ensure that you are getting the most out of every class and
every workout.

STRETCH CLASSES
STRETCH SPECTACULAR
Offered right after both 9:30 am morning classes each Monday,
this is a class that will help stretch your mind and body. With an
approach of going through a wide variety of stretches this 30
minute class will help your body relax and release the tension
that has developed through a hard workout.
When: Mondays 10:30– 11:00 am
Session: September 12th - December 19th, 2016.

FITNESS TRAINING
STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING CLASS
This workout is designed for those who like to get a jump start to
their day. Be prepared to work hard and see results from this intense
one hour workout. This class will keep your heart rate elevated
while combining weight training and aerobic exercises for maximal
efficiency! Be prepared to work hard because our instructors
will push you to bring out your very best!
When: Wednesdays 6:15-7:15 am
Session: September 7th - December 21st, 2016.

TRX/Kettlebell Blitz - Circuit Training
Looking for a sweaty way to break up your day? This Metabolic mix
of training tools will help you achieve your goals. Using your body
weight as resistance, along with some fun fitness accessories is a fantastic
way to get a challenging but safe workout. Guaranteed to set
kick your day into the next gear setting you up for success! All fitness
levels welcomed.

"ACTIVE FUNCTIONAL LIVING FOR OLDER ADULTS"
For: All members over 50 years of age.
When: Wednesday at 12:30pm
Where: All classes will be based out of the Fitness Studio.

This hour of cardio and resistance training includes the use of

This flow yoga class is ideal for first timers to experienced yoga

An hour of resistance training and cardio challenges will kick

This class is your weekend wake-up! Perform 60 mins of resistance

This Spin class is sure to get your body sweating and you huffing

This class is a great opportunity to unwind and stretch out your

Train like never before as you work on agility, speed, strength
and endurance in this moderate to high intensity timed Interval

If you are looking for a tough high intensity class then this is one

A great way to kick off your weekend, this class is offered right
after work and before our famous “Dinner at The Wint.”

Perfecting the Fundamental Postures ~ 1 Day Yoga Workshop

Do you ever wonder in a led yoga class whether you are doing the
yoga poses right? This workshop is for those who do yoga but
would like to refine the fundamentals to go deeper in their practice.
It’s all about alignment! We will break down all the most
popular yoga postures and learn how to use your breath to be at
ease in each pose. This is an opportunity for you learn the proper
form and ask all those burning questions. We will move from the
gross to the subtle and let the breath be our guide!

Restorative Yoga: Inspiring Relaxation Series

Meagan invites you to embark on a journey of deep rest andcalm. Restorative yoga is a deeply therapeutic experience that will
nourish you from the inside out. This series is designed to guide and
prepare you for the busy fall season with a relaxed mind, a healthy
body and an open heart. You will be nourished both physically and
emotionally with gentle restorative postures that will guide you gradually
to inner stillness and calm. Using bolsters, yoga props, soft cotton
blankets and silky eye pillows you will slowly release into a deep state
of relaxation, allowing you to let go of long-held tensions in your body,
mind and heart. Come and allow yourself to slow down and find a
renewed sense of inner energy as Meagan guides you towards your
authentic self. No yoga experience necessary.

Mobility and Muscle Release Series – A Global to Local Approach
Mondays at 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Gain a new freedom in your body and experience how the mobility
techniques learned in this workshop can correct chronic muscle tension
faster than traditional stretching methods. You will learn how to assess
and systematically release tension in muscles, constriction in joints and
adhesions in fascia using self-myofascial release, trigger point therapy
and dynamic flexibility techniques. This workshop will help your body
recover faster, increase your functional range of motion, decrease muscle
soreness and enhance your body’s flexibility and mobility.
